With Apple's New Event is only a week and a day away, things are getting really wild with rumors.
While there have been some pretty funny calls, the funniest has been from a tech rumor site callled
Valleywag.
Valleywag is saying that they will give
$10,000 for a picture of the tablet, $20,000 for video of the tablet being used, $50,000 for any video with Jobs himself playing with it, and $100,000 for a one hour play date with the Valleywag men. Unfortunately there have been no pictures but there has been a Cease & Desist letter from Apple. This letter almost guarantees the release of a tablet.
Valleywag did give the guys at Apple a reward for this letter: | Granted, it's no photo of Steve Jobs holding his heavenly device himself (prize: $50,000), but we do feel like it merits some kind of reward. So, Michael, we're sending off a gift basket to you that includes: A DVD of Legally Blonde 2, a $25 Zune Marketplace giftcard, and a fabulous set of steak knives! |
