Bounty Offered for Solid Evidence of Apple Tablet

With Apple's New Event is only a week and a day away, things are getting really wild with rumors.

While there have been some pretty funny calls, the funniest has been from a tech rumor site callled Valleywag.

Valleywag is saying that they will give $10,000 for a picture of the tablet, $20,000 for video of the tablet being used, $50,000 for any video with Jobs himself playing with it, and $100,000 for a one hour play date with the Valleywag men.

Unfortunately there have been no pictures but there has been a Cease & Desist letter from Apple. This letter almost guarantees the release of a tablet.

Valleywag did give the guys at Apple a reward for this letter:

Granted, it's no photo of Steve Jobs holding his heavenly device himself (prize: $50,000), but we do feel like it merits some kind of reward. So, Michael, we're sending off a gift basket to you that includes: A DVD of Legally Blonde 2, a $25 Zune Marketplace giftcard, and a fabulous set of steak knives!

So what do you think of an Apple Tablet, will you buy it?

Chrome Update for Mac Adds New Multi-Touch Gestures [Updates]

Google Chrome Developer build for Mac users has just hit its newest version. Version 4.0.295.0.

Multi-Touch trackpad gestures are one of the few new features in this build. Holding the CMD key and swiping with three fingers will open a new tab with whatever you have going on with the back and forward browser buttons. This works with the apple Magic Mouse without the CMD key.

For instance, if you wish to go back a page but don't want to lose the current one you are on simple hold CMD and then swipe left with three fingers. If you are using the Apple Magic mouse then two fingers to the left without the CMD key does the same thing.

Also added in this developer version of Chrome is a crude bookmarks manager.

Fourth Generation iPhone....?

Rummors going around about the next iPhone show some cool features that would again raise the bar on mobile computing. These are:

-A new, higher resolution screen

-A new 5 megapixel camera

-An iPhone flash (that could be stored in the apple logo on the back of the device.)
(MacRumors)

-A touch sensitive backing much like the magic mouse.

-Removable battery. I think this is a false rumor as the only thing Apple has in which batteries can be swapped in and out is the magic mouse and the Apple remote.

-Forward facing camera (like the picture)

And that's it. If you check The iPhone Blog there are some Apple patents floating around that could potentially be features of a new iPhone.

As for me I want a new casing, flash, and bigger ram and a proccessor equivalent of the Nexus One or better.

The Korean Times says that the new iPhone could debut as early as April.

What do you want to see in or on a new iPhone? Leave a comment below and get sharing ideas!
