Helping the iPad to Run your Desktop Computer OS - Remote Access to Windows and Mac with Fullscreen Remote Connectivity
Will riding in the car today, I had an epithany. Before I tell you what this realization was, I'll give you some background.
When Steve Jobs blessed the world with his latest creation, the iPad, there were complaints that the new device didn't run a full version of Mac OSX Snow Leopard. Instead, the iPad ran an upgraded version of iPhone OS. Although iPhone OS is Mac OSX at the core, people were complaining that the functionality of iPad OS is not what it should be.
Fortunately there is a way to run Mac OSX Snow Leopard OR a Windows Operation system! It is quite simple actually, an iPhone app like LogMeIn Ignition can be used to share the screen of the computer on the screen of the iPad. Because of the large screen, the user can run their home computer full screen and use it like a touch version of OSX or Windows 7. The iPhone apps will run 2x so this fullscreen deffinately possible.
Since things like touch and hold are not implemented in most remote access apps, developers should make their apps for iPad and have touch and hold and several other additions like two finger tap for right click.
So who said the iPad didn't have functionality? It can run Windows 7 AND Mac OSX.
